Results are in! To better understand the local maker community’s interests and needs, Boston Makers conducted an open survey and held a series of public meetings in Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, West Roxbury, and Hyde Park over the course of four months. More than 80 people attended these meetings and expressed interest in being involved in a maker community. Over 250 responded to the survey. After reading everyone’s responses and feed back, we created an infographic to communicate the results of the survey! One of the main things this brought to light, was how so many people are interested in being actively involved in a community. We agree- sharing ideas, knowledge and tools excites and inspires us too!

Boston Makers continues to hold public meetings and encourage feedback. Please check out our event calendar for more information, or leave us some suggestions!
