Indigo Dyeing Course @ FABRIC

FABRIC and Boston Makers have teamed up to present this program as a part of Boston Design Week.
Learn the basics of indigo dyeing by exploring a variety of techniques. Traditional shibori, resist, and pole-dyeing techniques will be included with hands-on help. You will have a choice of items to purchase to dye for $5-$20. Participants may also bring a prewashed item to dye. We recommend 100% cotton or silk fabrics for best results. No previous experience necessary. Come have fun, get messy, explore and see what you can do!
Two sessions to choose from: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 2-5 p.m. Participants in our Upcycling workshop on April 8 (morning or afternoon sessions) are eligible for a $10 discount for the Indigo Dyeing Course, subject to availability.
