Young Makers 2019

Maker class for youth, age 9 to 15 years-old. Open to girls and boys. Attendees will have a chance to learn to use some of our equipment and work on projects. Mentors available to help on all levels.
Young Makers Club is recommended for young people interested in building things and need a little help or equipment to do it. We’ve got some fun digital equipment like a lasercutter and 3d printer and also materials for kids to create many kinds of projects. Browse Make Magazine (https://makezine.com) for some ideas, or maybe thingiverse.com. Participants will have access to the laser cutter, 3d printer, electronics and fabric arts stations, as well as mentors to help guide and problem solve. Open to all, no Boston Makers membership required. $10 fee per session, donations welcome to cover material costs.
